The subscription

Weekly or fortnightly, by subscription

The subscription is a standing visit, not a parcel and not a plan chosen from a list. Nothing is posted or left at the door. You decide the rhythm: weekly flowers for your villa, or a visit every fortnight. We come to the house and set each arrangement where it belongs. What we bring follows the season, so the rooms change with it. Over time we learn the house and how you use it.

The rhythm

A visit every week or every fortnight, as you choose. The visits can follow the months you spend in the house, so the flowers are there when you are.

The design

A new seasonal design each time, never a repeat. Each arrangement is composed for the room it stands in, with the flowers that week offers.

The visit

We set each piece where it belongs and clear the previous arrangements away on each visit. Nothing is left at the door.

A side table receives the same attention as the dining room.

Florium is a flower atelier in Sotogrande offering a weekly or fortnightly flower subscription for homes on the Costa del Sol: seasonal arrangements designed for each house, then delivered and set up in place. We also prepare flowers for single occasions at home. We are a family business, working from Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro for more than twenty years.

A house has its own character before any flowers arrive: the light in each room, its colours, the way you live in it. The arrangements should follow that, not a catalogue. We look at the space first, then design for it with what is in season. A side table receives the same attention as the dining room. Discretion, always.

Occasions at home

Dinners, guests and arrivals

Some flowers are for one evening. We prepare the table and the rooms for a dinner party, for guests arriving to stay or for a celebration at home. When you return after months away, fresh flowers for your arrival can be waiting in the house. These are single commissions, with or without a subscription.

On board and outdoors

Flowers for yachts and terraces

We prepare yacht flowers for boats moored in Sotogrande marina, for a stay aboard or a charter. When the request comes from the crew, we work with them directly on timing, placement and notice. On board, each piece is designed for the space and the movement of the boat.

At the house, we also design for terraces and tables set outside, choosing flowers that suit the sun and air of each season.

The process

How we work with your home

The first visit

Arrange a first visit and we meet at the atelier or at the house, by appointment. We look at the rooms, the light and how the house is lived in, and ask which months you spend there. Your property manager is welcome to join.

The proposal

We then send a proposal: which rooms and outdoor spaces to dress, the colour palette, the scale of each arrangement and the rhythm of visits. It starts from what is in season. You can also see homes we have worked in.

Each visit

On each visit we arrive with new flowers, set them in place and clear what has finished. The design follows the season, so no two visits look alike. Each one also refines the last, as we learn what works in each room.

A flower subscription with Florium is a regular visit to your home, weekly or fortnightly. After a first visit and a proposal, we design seasonal arrangements for the rooms you choose, then bring them and set them in place. The design changes with each visit.

Yes, the subscription can follow the months you spend in the house. Tell us when you leave and when you return, and the visits stop and restart around those dates. Before you come back, we can prepare the house so the flowers are already in place.

Yes, if access to the house is agreed in advance. We arrange the details with you or with whoever looks after the property, whether that is a property manager, housekeeper or security team. We come in, set the flowers and leave the house as we found it.

Yes. Your property manager or crew can enquire, approve the proposal and act as our single point of contact, so you do not need to be involved day to day. We reply to every enquiry within 24 hours, in English or Spanish.

The notice we need varies with the size of the request and the flowers in season. A single dinner table needs less preparation than a whole house or a yacht. Send us the date and what you have in mind as early as you can, and we will confirm what is possible.

We work in Sotogrande, from our base in Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro, San Roque. Homes and yachts elsewhere in the Campo de Gibraltar or along the Costa del Sol are considered case by case. Tell us where the property is when you enquire.

The cost depends on how many arrangements the house needs, which rooms and outdoor spaces they dress, how often we visit and the flowers in season. After the first visit we send a written proposal with the price, so you know it before anything starts.
