Sotogrande · Family-run for over twenty years

Florium is a family-run flower atelier in Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro, Sotogrande, with more than twenty years in the area, designing seasonal flowers for hotels, private homes, yachts and weddings. This page answers the questions that apply to every client: visiting and contacting the team, the flowers themselves, payment and discretion. Questions about a single service are answered on that service’s own page.

Every enquiry receives a reply within 24 hours.

01 · The atelier

Visiting and contacting the atelier

The Flower Studio is Florium’s new space where clients can visit by appointment, talk through a project and watch arrangements being made. It opens in [month and year], at [place]. Until it opens, first consultations continue as now: at Florium’s current premises, or at your hotel, home or venue.

Yes, you can call in at Florium’s atelier in Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro and buy flowers without an appointment. What is on offer follows the season, so it changes from week to week. Appointments are for consultations about a hotel, a home or a wedding, which you can arrange in advance.

Florium works in English and Spanish. Proposals, contracts and invoices can be prepared in either language, which helps when the person who signs and the person who manages day to day prefer different ones. Whichever language you write in, every enquiry receives a reply within 24 hours.

Yes, Florium can be reached by phone or WhatsApp on [telephone and WhatsApp number]. A quick message suits a bouquet or a simple question. For a hotel programme, a home or a wedding, a written enquiry works better, because it gives the team the dates, spaces and details needed to prepare a proposal.

02 · In season

The flowers and their care

Florium sources its flowers from [origin], choosing each week what is at its best in that season. Because the selection follows the calendar, where a flower comes from can change from one month to the next. If origin matters to you, for a wedding or for a hotel’s sustainability policy, mention it when you enquire.

Yes, Florium can choose flowers with little scent or pollen for any space where either would be unwelcome. This matters most near a dining table, in bedrooms and for anyone sensitive to pollen. Mention it in your first enquiry so it becomes part of the brief. In hotel programmes, it can be agreed space by space.

No, Florium does not use floral foam. Standard floral foam is a single-use plastic that breaks down into microplastics and cannot be recycled. That applies to every arrangement, from a table centre to a wedding installation. If you or your planner work to a sustainability policy, share it with your enquiry.

Florium recommends a few simple habits: keep the vase topped up with clean water, change it every two or three days and trim the stems slightly each time. Keep the flowers away from direct sun, heaters, air-conditioning vents and ripening fruit. Clients with a flower subscription receive fresh arrangements at every visit.

The containers stay in place. Only the flowers change.

03 · Vases · Payment · Changes

Practical details

Yes, Florium delivers its arrangements in vases or containers chosen for each space. In hotels and homes with a regular programme, the containers stay in place and only the flowers change at each visit. For a single bouquet, whether a vase is included, collected later or charged separately is confirmed when you order.

Florium accepts [payment methods]. Hotel programmes are invoiced quarterly, so a property receives four invoices a year rather than one each week. Homes, weddings and single orders follow the payment terms set out in their proposal or order. For bouquets sent to someone in Sotogrande, see how ordering works on the flower delivery page.

Yes, within the terms of each service: Florium sets out its conditions for changes and cancellations before you commit. A hotel programme, a home subscription, a wedding and a single bouquet each have their own terms, written into the proposal, contract or order. The earlier you get in touch, the more room there is to adjust.

Yes, Florium also takes on other occasions besides weddings. Each one is planned the way a wedding is: a first consultation, then a proposal written for that occasion alone. You can see how that works on the weddings and events page. When you enquire, include the date, the venue and the approximate number of guests.

04 · Always

Discretion

Not without your permission: Florium does not name a client, a home or a couple unless they have agreed. Homes that are shown carry nothing that could identify them, and many houses the team works in never appear at all. Every project in the portfolio is published with its owner’s consent.

Yes, Florium can sign a confidentiality agreement before visiting a property or starting a project. Owners, family offices, yacht crews and hotels sometimes ask for one. Discretion is already part of how the team works: details of a home, a guest list or a wedding stay with the people who need them.
