Bridal bouquets in Sotogrande

Made for you alone, and held in every photograph.

Bouquet only

The bouquet, on its own

You can commission your bouquet from us without booking the rest of the wedding. As a wedding florist, we take on eight weddings a year and do every flower for each one. A bouquet-only commission sits outside that calendar: we design and make the bouquet, and the other flowers stay with the team you have chosen. The consultation, the design and the attention are the same. Each of these commissions is confirmed date by date, so tell us yours when you enquire.

It fits when:

  • Your venue or another florist is doing the wedding flowers
  • Your ceremony is small and needs only the bouquet
  • Our wedding calendar is already full for your date

Our speciality

A bouquet designed around you

Florium designs bridal bouquets in Sotogrande, each one made to order in its atelier in Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro with flowers in season on your wedding day. We are a family business with more than twenty years in the area, and the bouquet is the piece we put before everything else.

A wedding bouquet is the one piece you hold all day, and it appears in almost every picture. So we start with you: your dress, your colours, the style of the wedding and the time of year. Each design is made for one wedding and is not repeated.

  • Designed with you, or with your planner
  • Seasonal flowers, composed for your date
  • Matching bouquets for your bridesmaids
  • Timings for the day agreed in advance

The process

How your bouquet is made

01

The consultation

It begins when you send us your date. We then meet, by appointment, in the atelier or at your venue. Bring images of your dress, your colour palette and anything you have saved. If you work with a planner, they are welcome to join.

02

The design

From that conversation we prepare a proposal: the flowers in season for your date, the palette, the shape and the scale of the bouquet. It works within the concept of your wedding, and you review it before anything is made.

03

The wedding morning

Before the day, we agree with you or your planner when and where the bouquet should arrive: where you are getting ready, or your venue in Sotogrande and the surrounding area. We time it to reach you shortly before the ceremony.

Before you book

Questions about bridal bouquets

Book as early as you can, ideally once your date and venue are fixed. The consultation and the proposal take time, and an early enquiry means neither is rushed. Start by telling us your date: we reply to every enquiry within 24 hours.

Yes, subject to your date. The bouquet can be a separate commission, with another team handling the other flowers at your wedding. It does not count towards the eight weddings a year we take on in full, but it follows the same process of consultation and proposal. If you would rather we did everything, see our complete wedding service.

Yes. You can send us photographs of the dress and the references you like before we speak, and we agree with you how best to hold the consultation if you cannot come to Sotogrande. The proposal comes to you to review wherever you are. To get a sense of our style, see our recent work.

You choose the direction, and we choose the flowers that will be at their best on your date. Tell us your colours, the shapes you like and anything you would rather avoid. We compose with what is in season, and if a flower matters to you, we tell you whether your date suits it.

We design summer bouquets with the heat in mind, choosing seasonal flowers that cope well with warmth and timing their arrival close to the ceremony. On the day, the bouquet keeps best in water and out of direct sun between photographs. Fresh flowers always respond to the weather, so we plan for it rather than promise against it.

Yes. We can design bridesmaids’ bouquets to match yours, from the same flowers and palette. Tell us how many you need when you enquire, and they are planned in the same consultation and included in the proposal. Smaller pieces follow your bouquet rather than compete with it, so the bridal party looks coherent in the photographs.

The cost depends on the size of the bouquet, the flowers in season on your date and any matching pieces for your bridesmaids. Because the design is individual, we quote it after the consultation, as part of the proposal. You know the full cost and what it includes before you confirm anything.
